Almost everyone wants to go to heaven, but there's this one problem....sin. What is sin? Sin is when we do or say things that are opposed to what God wants us to do. There is the obvious, stealing, murder, taking God's name in vain, adultery, etc, but really sin is anything that takes us further away from God, or doing or saying something that hurts other people. We all sin. Yes, we all do. Even the most righteous Christian you know sins. There is not one person who can say they don't sin. In the bible, Romans 3:23 says, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". It also says in Romans 6:23, that "the result of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord". Sounds like there really is a major problem there! We established with the GOLD page that we want to go to heaven. Now here on this page we find that sin keeps us out of heaven, and that we all sin. Ooooops! Does that mean we're all doomed?
