We want to go to heaven. (Gold) Sin keeps us out. (Dark) Jesus' blood makes a way for us. (Red) We now have the knowledge to get to heaven! BUT, it requires some action from you. Just because we know something, that's not enough. For example, if I'm hot & thirsty, and an ice cold soft drink is sitting on the table in front of me, just knowing that it will quench my thirst isn't enough is it? Of course not. I have to RECIEVE it! Likewise, just knowing about Jesus doesn't get you to heaven. You must recieve him. Jesus said, "behold I stand at the door and knock". If someone knocks on your door, you have to get up and recieve that person into your house. Jesus wants you to recieve him. In Romans 10:9 the bible says, "if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, belive in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be SAVED"! The bible also says if you recieve Jesus, he will make you WHITER than snow. Picture all the darkness of sin being washed away and becoming whiter than snow! Take that action right now. Pray this prayer to God, right now. "Dear God, thank you for loving me. Thank you for wanting me to be part of your plan! Please forgive me for all my sins. Please help me to try to live a life that will honor you. Put people in my life that will help me walk with you. Oh Jesus, please come into my heart, into my life. I'm not sure I understand all this, dear God, but I do believe. I believe in you with the faith of a little child. Thank you Jesus for saving me, and for coming into my life. I pray in Jesus name, Amen." Guess what? If you prayed that prayer or something similar, you are going to heaven!! Congratulations! Now tell someone. Tell someone that you know is a Christian.
